Akugbe: Exploring African identity and culture through Fashion – In Collaboration with North Carolina Museum of Arts

In honor of the final weekend of the exhibition Ruth E. Carter: Afrofuturism in Costume Design, join us for a lecture by Nigerian designer Ethel Idaewor-Joseph, a fashion show featuring models from the African Diaspora in authentic African attire, and a short Q&A. Idaewor-Joseph’s creations will also be available to enjoy or purchase after the event.
